Whilst looking at a photo of a Pegida demonstration in Dresden, a flag that I had not seen before caught my eye. I looked it up on wikipedia and found that it was known as the Wirmer flag, after Josef Wirmer who proposed it and who paid with his life for his association with the bomb plot against Hitler.
